The smell of salt water lets you know that it’s near. We are 300 feet to the white sands of Crescent Beach and the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico waters.
The soft, clean sand deserves all the awards it has won for the finest, whitest sand. It’s been called sugar sand and powder sand, but it’s really composed of clean, clear quartz. A feast for the eyes and the feet!
The Gulf of Mexico waters lapping onto Siesta Key are generally warm and calm, perfect for a gulfside stroll or a refreshing swim. Collecting shells, watching dolphins play and shorebirds scurry away from advancing waves...you’ll feel like you’ve found paradise!
Stop at the end of the path to rent an umbrella, beach chairs, and possibly a sailboat or kayak! Cabanas are also available for rent at the beach access.
At the south end of Crescent Beach is Point of Rocks, known for its great snorkeling and diving because of its coral formations. And at the north end of Crescent Beach is Siesta Key Public Beach, with a playground, tennis and beach volleyball courts, and concession stands.
